If you’re struggling to build your MLM business, chances are you’re selling the wrong end of the stick.
Instead of promoting your MLM business opportunity to your prospects on the front-end, you should lead with a funded proposal instead.
So, what is a funded proposal?
A funded proposal is a marketing concept that is used by network marketers to generate highly-targeted leads by retailing a generic, MLM related information product to people that are either already in network marketing or who are interested in network marketing.
Since the money that is earned on the front-end sales covers their advertising expenses, network marketers who use a funded proposal can generate free MLM leads and create instant cash flow at the same time.
The funded proposal is still used today by well-known network marketing icons such as Joe Schroeder, Dale Calvert, Robert Blackman, Dennis Karganilla, Diane Hochman, and Mike Dillard, author of Magnetic Sponsoring.
Joe Schroeder, creator and pioneer of the funded proposal, has been quoted as saying, “It’s easier to earn $1,000 per week retailing a generic MLM-based information product than it is to earn $100 per month in residual income in network marketing.”
When you do MLM this way, it is much easier to go full-time, since you can be earning as much as $200 per day, if not more, in just a few short weeks.

There is one way to beat high gas prices. Don’t drive. Many people are now looking at home based businesses as a way to beat the high cost of fuel.
It’s call “zero commute”. You roll out of bed , walk down to the home office, and start your day. There is no fighting rush hour traffic, no need to fill the car with gas, no lunch hour hustle. Computers have made it possible more that at any other time to get work done from home.
The ultimate is your own business and droves are turning to network marketing because of its promise of low start up costs and fast growth, plus the potential to have a “residual” income that continues without effort.
If you work from home, please comment and tell your story.

There is another, less traveled path to the mortgage crisis. Everyone is trying to sell or rent their home in order to get out from under a strangling payment, but here is something only a few are doing.
It goes without saying if you have more money that things are easier. A $5,000 a month payment is no big deal if you are making $40,000 a month for example. Most people only need about $500 to $1,500 a month extra to bail them out of the mortgage crisis. That figure is easily achieved by working hard at an extra job.
Instead, why not pour your heart and soul into your network marketing business? Get some more downline, ramp up sales, get serious. If you do, you’ll not only make the extra, save your home from foreclosure, but you’ll be building the foundation of a business that will keep your family fed forever.
Rather than wallow in your own self pitty, you’ll feel good about yourself. Easy? Well no, not a bit. But it becomes the kick in the pants you might need to finally get that business rolling. Just a thought.

Did you notice that everything seemed to stop for the SuperBowl? I went to the movies and found hardly anyone there. Of course I went to a dud movie “Meet the Spartans”, but still, there were hardly any customers at the theatre.
Online had a dead day too. OnlineMLM.com’s hits were down until the SuperBowl ended. I’m sure many other websites experienced the same thng. Can you believe the power of this one event? Simply amazing.
Now that the SuperBowl is over, and the Giants are the winners, things should get back to normal. The TV sets have been turned off except for those die hard people still watching game highlights and stats. People have moved on to parties, or food, or to bed depending on where they live. Some will venture on the internet, but nothing serious will be done today.
This week we can move on to the next big event. The Chinese New Year.

You better start to love selling if you are doing network marketing, cause that’s what you are really doing.
Selling doesn’t have to be a dirty word. It doesn’t mean you have to knock doors or make cold calls. Those are just methods.
Selling is not pressure or forcing someone into something they don’t want.
I like the word, “sharing” because with that attitude you’ll actually “sell” better.
When you share, you educate. You don’t get upset if someone doesn’t purchase. When you sell, your goal is to get the sale and you are frustrated when you don’t get it.
Share your best information with others, You’ll make more money and you’ll sleep better.

Tracy Coenen wrote and article entitled “Multi-Level Marketing not so attractive anymore“. Here is an except:
Here’s the problem with MLM from a consumer standpoint: The MLM industry has been around for decades, and still fails to be a real player in the retail marketplace. The economy functions by real retail sales from real retailers online and in brick-and-mortar stores. MLM could completely go away and almost no retail consumers would even notice.
… all available evidence suggests that the bulk of those “sales” are really just purchases by associates/distributors who are merely meeting various “requirements.”
Look at the sales of your sales and the sales of your downline. Are you making sales to consumers? If not, you are falling into the lazy marketer’s stance of “let somone else do it” . Sales are where the money is. If everyone would just take on a few customers that are not part of the MLM game, incomes would skyrocket.
Today, MLM is in a constant state of collapse, with distributors leaving the MLM plans almost as fast as they come in the door.
Ouch.. that hurts. Blame it on the “grass is greener” syndrome. The newest MLM to come along sucks distributors from other companies. Few people stick with it long enough to be a success.

Some old style stuffy MLM’s or network marketing companies are still not up to speed in the online world. Oh they may have a corporate web page, but they totally ignore their distributor’s needs and disallow them to advertise or do business online. That is a big mistake.
Online is where it’s at. These backward old companies are living in dreamland if they think they can stifle thier sales force and restrict them to knocking on doors and using the telephone. These days everything is on the internet. Come on folks, why do you stay with these relics of the past?
